From Despair to Hope:
The Compassionate Journey of Keddi Foundation - The Story of Musiime Angella
As disheartening as it seems that people whose well-being is appalling are the most prone to strife, even aspirations are harder to achieve when strife grips a hold of someone. Must we let strife stand in the way of achievement? Or should we come together as humanity for the sake of one another?
Keddi Foundation has championed this sacrifice and compassion for humanity through selfless service. Even in seemingly harsh situations, one must always have faith in humanity. Isn’t that the whole essence of life? We are once again granted the opportunity to delve into this passion for service.
On this occasion, it is one Ms. Musiime Angella whose “home” is awash following the floods that have devastated her area; Nakiwogo, Entebbe. Prior to this, her house has been taken over by the bank since her husband has abandoned her. This follows a loan that her husband has failed to pay. Hope is now only just a dream!
Sadness grips your heart and your body is unable to hold back your emotions upon setting sight on the conditions that she is forced to live in. The already taken house is halfway filled with muddy water and that is why we have to use gumboots to catch a glimpse of the situation. Not much can be seen except all that can float.
When asked why we are here, Hon. Dr. Keddi Steven Eric, the founder of Keddi Foundation is quick to answer, “We are here to give back.” Selflessness is our passion because with selflessness, we can serve humanity and it is with this selflessness that one can truly touch lives.
With gratitude written all over her face, Ms. Musiime Angella receives $1000 (One Thousand Dollars) from Mr. Keddi Steven to enable her to start up a business of her choice and as such escape the dire state with which she is grappling.
This is in addition to a house that Keddi Foundation has paid for a whole year so that her and her children can live a decent life.
She serves as a testimony to our unwavering, ever-timely service to humanity. Keddi Foundation, Serving Humanity. Watch the full story bellow
